A native of New Orleans and second-generation attorney, Devin learned the practice of law at an early age by helping in his father’s law office and accompanying him to court hearings and trials. Since 2000, Devin has successfully defended nationally-known carriers and companies in numerous trials in Louisiana, obtaining multiple zero verdicts and summary judgments for his clients. He has an extensive federal court and appellate practice as well.
Devin emphasizes an aggressive and proactive approach to handling cases, with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients and claims professionals through effective communication, coordinated decision-making on strategic legal issues, and cost-efficient results. Devin stresses the importance of a team environment to follow client litigation guidelines on budgeting, reporting, and proper billing practices. He understands the importance of working with claims professionals early on to identify cases for settlement or preparation through trial.
Devin served as a member of the Tulane Law School Moot Court Board of Directors, and as a student-competitor on the ATLA Trial Team. He was the National Trial Team Practitioner Coach for Tulane Law School in 2001. Devin was also selected to the Order of the Barristers at Tulane Law School, an honor awarded to only ten law students in each graduating class.

He enjoys serving as a volunteer youth coach for his two children in basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
