Matt Clute joined McCranie, Sistrunk, Anzelmo, Hardy, McDaniel & Welch in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a summer associate for two firms in New Orleans and worked as a legal extern for the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office.

Matt earned his Juris Doctor and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2023. While in law school, Matt competed in various trial competitions and was a finalist in the 2022 LSU Law Center Transactional Negotiation Competition. Matt additionally served as an active member of the Board of Advocates during law school.

Prior to law school, Matt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama and attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a master’s degree in Global Studies with a concentration in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies.
