Jared S. Lightfoot / Attorney

Jared Lightfoot joined McCranie Sistrunk Anzelmo Hardy McDaniel & Welch’s New Orleans office in May 2026. Prior to joining the firm, his experience included federal service as counsel with the Department of Homeland Security and work in healthcare compliance.

Before becoming an attorney, Jared served in Emergency Medical Services as a licensed paramedic.  He is also a veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard, where he has served since 2006.

Jared earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana State University, a certification as an EMT-Paramedic from Delgado Community College, and a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2014. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

A native of Southeast Louisiana, Jared and his wife enjoy passing on their love of tailgating, festivals, and crawfish boils to their three children.
