Heather N. Shockley focuses her litigation practice on defending clients in matters related to trucking and transportation, automobile liability, premises liability, retail and hospitality liability, and excess claims.  She has over a decade of experience overseeing all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation to settlement or trial.  As every claim is unique, she understands the importance of working closely with clients to develop a litigation plan to secure the best results for each client.  Heather has secured multiple favorable verdicts and has obtained numerous dismissals through her dispositive motion practice in Louisiana state and federal courts.

Heather is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.

Heather graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University, where she was awarded the Faculty Merit Scholarship.  During law school, she attended the Universite Jean-Moulin in Lyon, France, and received the CALI Award for Louisiana Civil Procedure I and Successions.
