Elise W. Benezech / Attorney

Elise Benezech joined McCranie, Sistrunk, Anzelmo, Hardy, McDaniel & Welch in 2023.  Prior to joining the firm, Elise worked at a defense law firm in New Orleans, gaining experience in a diverse area of law, including mass tort litigation, first and third-party insurance coverage, intellectual property, and trust and estates disputes.

Elise earned her undergraduate degree from LSU in 2017.  Elise continued on at LSU to graduate cum laude from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, earning her Juris Doctor and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law in 2020.  While in law school, Elise competed on the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Team, winning first place nationally. Elise served on the Editorial Board of the LSU Journal for Energy Law and Resources, as a Senior Editor.  Elise was also a member of the Board of Advocates and a Tutor for Civil Law and Property.

Elise is licensed to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts in Louisiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
