Denman T. Mims / Attorney
Denman Mims joined McCranie Sistrunk Anzelmo Hardy McDaniel & Welch as an associate in the New Orleans office in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Denman worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Sea Grant Program (NOAA), becoming published in multiple NOAA legal reporters. His prior work experience also includes work with a New Orleans plaintiff’s firm focusing on toxic torts.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in biological sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. He received a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Denman served as an executive board member of the Tulane Moot court program and was a member of the mock trial team, leading to honors in the trial advocacy program. Denman played an active and key role in the Tulane Environmental and Energy Law program, receiving a certificate in environmental law and serving on the executive board of the 2018 Tulane Environmental and Energy Law Summit. Additionally, Denman served as a student practitioner in Tulane Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic.
Denman was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 2019.
