Blane Mader joined McCranie, Sistrunk, Anzelmo, Hardy, McDaniel & Welch in 2023.  Prior to joining the firm, Blane worked at a defense law firm in New Orleans, gaining experience in a diverse area of law, including first and third-party insurance coverage, medical-malpractice defense, and premises liability defense work. Blane additionally has extensive experience in criminal defense work.

Blane earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans in 2018 and continued his education at LSU to graduate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, earning his Juris Doctor and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law in 2021.  While in law school, Blane competed in numerous trial and appellate advocacy competitions and was awarded first place in the 2019 LSU Opening Statement Competition and the 2020 LSU Transactional Negotiation Competition. Blane additionally received the first annual Dudley Debosier Advocacy Award in 2020 and was an active member of the Board of Advocates during his time at LSU Law.  Blane is a former professional ballet dancer and performs as a freelance artist throughout the Southern United States.

Blane is licensed to practice before all Louisiana state courts.
